...The supreme court of the Presbyterian Church (USA) has overruled protests against the ordination of Kathleen Morrison -- an openly lesbian minister who is living with another woman. Although Morrison is field organizer for an independent caucus of homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Presbyterians, the denomination's Permanent Judicial Commission ruled that it does not have "direct and specific knowledge" of actual conduct that violates PC-USA policy.
