...A pro-family analyst is blasting a decision by the U.S. Veterans Administration to allow members of a homosexual church to act as chaplains. The Metropolitan Community Church affirms homosexuality. Peter LaBarbera of Concerned Women for America tells Family News In Focus it is the first step in the homosexual lobby's efforts to infiltrate the military. He says it would be a "very disturbing development" to have a church built around homosexuality allowed in the chaplaincy. LaBarbera adds his organization expected the MCC to "worm its way" into the U.S. military, and that it looks like this arrangement with the Veterans Administration is a jump-start in that direction. The VA confirms the addition of MCC pastors to its list of chaplains. The self-proclaimed homosexual church also has an application pending with the government to provide chaplains to the military.
