...More than 100 Midwestern pastors and church leaders have met to consider how they might curtail pornography in their communities. The conference held in Grand Island, Nebraska, discussed the physiology of pornography addiction, the biblical definition of pornography, and how to create a positive environment where those addicted to pornography can receive help in overcoming the unwholesome malady. Bill Smith of the Evangelical Free Church warned that the Internet now offers instant, electronic access to pornography "that will affect our children and our families for generations." Clergy from Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, and Kansas attended the conference.
