Philosophy

Philosophy and Theology are sister disciplines. They deal with many of the same issues and questions. They make us take account of our lives and the things we do, believe and say. Philosophical  questions are actually best answered by the Bible.

For those who are not familiar with philosophy, a simple working definition would be man's attempt to answer the following type of questions:

What is truth?

What is good?

Does evil exist?

Is there a difference between good and evil?

Where did we come from?

Who are we?

Isn't man just another animal on this planet?

Why are we here?

Why is there suffering in the world?

Where are we going?

Does man cease to exist after death?

For the Christian, the answers to these are generally quite clear. Take the Bible out of the equation and you will come up with some very strange answers to these questions.
