Don't All Religions Lead to God?
Can Christianity be faulted for unabashed arrogance in claiming to offer the only way to God? After all, don’t all religions lead to God? A number of people equate religious tolerance with religious truth. Many assume that all religions are basically the same and that all beliefs are therefore equally valid. They picture each religion as having identical faces hidden behind different masks.  Read More...

Current Christian Issues and Concerns

Pro-Family Leaders: Bush's Call for Marriage Amendment the Right Thing
(AgapePress) - Now that President Bush has called on Congress to pass a constitutional amendment limiting marriage to a man and a woman, pro-family groups are energized. While his political opponents say Tuesday's announcement is "divisive" and driving a "wedge" between the American people, some of his supporters say it is certain to become the definitive issue in the upcoming elections. As The Passion for the Christ Opens, Churches Find Openings for Evangelism
(AgapePress) - Movie theaters from large cities to small towns nationwide reported record numbers on the opening day of The Passion of the Christ, and Christian churches and groups are making the most of a tremendous opportunity. Read More...

Christian Doctrine or Christian Unity?
There seems to be a great deal of controversy about “doctrine”. To those outside the Church the mere mention of the word conjures up visions that range from “outdate historical notions” to “things that Christians fight over”. It does not fair much better inside many churches. Today the mention of doctrine seems to carry an almost negative connotation to it. There are many prominent leaders inside of Christianity today who make an impassioned plea for us to ignore doctrine and just “love Jesus”. Are these valid requests? Read More...

Who is Really a Christian?
We are being inundated with the message of ecumenicalism. (Ecumenicalism is a movement that desires to see all faith come together as one.) We see celebrities such Oprah leading prayer vigils for anyone of any faith be they Christian, New Age, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist or whatever.  We have religious leaders espousing the concept that there is one God but many paths to Him, the Christian path, The Buddhists path, the Jewish path and so on. These are lies from the depths of Hell. It is time for Evangelical Christianity to wake up and stand for the truth as Jesus Christ taught it. Read More...

Christian Reading for the Month

The Bible Answer Book - by Hank Hanegraaff
Hank Hanegraaff has heard it all. He knows what questions plague believers and nonbelievers. And he's done something about it--he's spelled out the answers. The Bible Answer Book is a simple guide covering the top questions that the Bible Answer Man has dealt with in his ministry. Topics include parents and kids, religions, difficulty, faith, fear, sin, salvation, and many more issues vital to understanding the path to better understanding God. Each question is approached in Hanegraaff's scholarly, easy-to-understand style, and he even suggests additional sources for readers who want to explore the topics further.

Scaling the Secular City: A Defense of Christianity - by J.P. Moreland
”Scaling the Secular City is the most sophisticated apologetics book I have read.  It lays out the issues, arguments, and counterarguments in a thorough way.  Moreland's special strength lies in philosophy of science, and the book makes a real advance in the interface between Christianity and science." William Land Craig.

Intellectuals Don't Need God: and Other Modern Myths - Alister McGrath
It seems like there are basically three kinds of thinking non-believers: those who think believing in God is irrational; those who think believing in God is unimportant; and those who think believing in God is dangerous to self-worship. Yet all three kinds of skeptics need the life-transforming power of the gospel. McGrath will teach you how to approach skeptics successfully, how to overcome barriers to faith, and how to integrate apologetics into a variety of forums.
