  People often complain that the average everyday citizen does not know what the US Congress and Senate are doing with our money in Washington. As much as we don't like it, we just can not control a great portion of what our government wastes our money on. Would it surprise you to find out that there are literally millions of Church members that give to Churches, Denominations and various ministries and that do not know how their Denomination stands on issues. We recently visited a church where the membership proudly declared their stand for Biblical Family values. As a matter of fact the membership held a very conservative Christian evangelical doctrinal position. This same church also sent $80,000 to their denomination's coffers this past year. This denomination is promoting and supporting Gay and Lesbian lifestyles as normal. They support the rights of women to have abortions. Most of their seminaries reject the virgin birth, the inspiration of the Bible, and Jesus is seen as a good teacher but not the only way to heaven. 

  There comes a time when we as Christians need to hold the churches, denominations, and ministries accountable to the standards set by the Word of God.  As a matter of fact 2 John 1:9-11 tells us that if we even let someone into our home or bid them God's speed that is teaching things not in accordance with the scriptures, we are guilty of their SIN. If God sees simply wishing them "God's speed," or saying "God bless you" or "good luck" as it were as taking part in their SIN, how must he view those who give money to these people allowing them to continue?   This is in no way saying that you should not give. You are to give as God has blessed you. You simply can not stop giving because you don't agree with the color of the carpet that was selected. You can stop supporting ministries that do not hold to God's principles. The Christian Arsenal believes that the local church is the first place that giving to God should be centered. It is the right, privilege and responsibility of the believer to do so.

  The list below contains some information on various denominations. We are not singling out any one particular denomination. There are good about some and bad about some. We provide this as a way for Believers to be aware of what their denominations are doing and saying or what is getting in the news. Not all denominations are listed, not all listings have links yet. This will always be a work in progress. If you have a story about your denomination, send it to us.

2 Timothy 3:1-7

1. But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
2. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3. without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,
4. treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God--
5. having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. 
6. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires,
7. always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.
