The Holy Spirit is...
The Holy Spirit is not considered in this belief system.
Method of Salvation:
Correct knowledge and good works improves a person's status in the afterlife.
Death and Beyond...
After life on this earthly plane, life continues in the spirit world, where one's spirit may progress from one level to another. Heaven and hell are simply states of mind. Many spiritists believe in reincarnation.
Other Beliefs:
Psychic demonstrations. Séances to contact the dead. Church services with spirit messages from the dead, and prophecies. May use Ouija boards or Tarot cards. Spiritism attracts grieving people who hope for contact with a deceased love one.
