Satan's
Emissary's....
Who
are they?
How do you know
how to tell what a false prophet is?
What
is my responsibility as a Christian?
Wow,
those are some tall questions. Ones that every Christian will contemplate
in the course of their spiritual maturation. But, the good news is that
the Bible clearly tells us the answers to these questions.
Matthew
7:15-16
"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
"You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?
Galatians 3:1
You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified?
2 Timothy 2:14-16
Remind them of these things, and solemnly charge them in the presence of God not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers.
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness,
Acts 17:11
Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.

Matthew
7: 15-23
15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but
inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or
figs of thistles?
17
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree
bringeth forth evil fruit.
18
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree
bring forth good fruit.
19
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast
into the fire.
20
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in
heaven.
22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in
thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done
many wonderful works?
23
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye
that work iniquity.

| False
prophets can be divided into three categories. Heretics, Apostates
and Deceivers. |
 |
Heretics:
Blatantly stand against the truth. They are flagrant and open
about their anti-God teachings. (Such as
Madelyn Murray O'Hair,
Shirley MacLaine,
Cerinthus of Ephesus) |
 |
Apostates:
Know the truth, but turn their back one it. They teach
anti-truths, with full knowledge of God's truth.
The Apostasy (such as
Kenneth Copeland,
Rodney Howard-Browne) |
 |
Deceivers:
Will not acknowledge the truth. They are subtle and many times
super religious. They, themselves are sometimes deceived. (Such as
Benny Hinn,
Paul Crouch,
Neil Anderson,
Bob Larson.) |

Guides for Testing the Truth
- Today We hear of people testing the supernatural, by what
they hear or see, by their experience, or by their feelings. If it feels
good or right they "bear witness." Another way is by just
accepting it by faith, since whatever is happening is inside the
church, and therefore must be from God. NONE of these are a biblical
measure for Truth and has more in common with the way the world
operates, than the Church. |

Heretics - The Importance of Orthodoxy
- Nothing more strangely indicates an enormous and
silent evil of modern society than the extraordinary use which is made nowadays of
the word "orthodox." In former days the heretic was proud of not being a heretic. |
